The legend of the dragon comes to life in the grounds of Meung-sur-Loire castle.
La Terre des Dragons is an outdoor installation that invites visitors to discover a fantastic bestiary. Designed as an immersive walk, it is a natural extension of the legend of the dragon of Saint-Liphard and blends harmoniously into the historic park.
BETWEEN LEGEND AND REALITY
After being defeated and put back underground according to legend, the dragon now reappears in the park in the form of fantastic installations.
La Terre des Dragons (The Land of Dragons) is part of this narrative continuity: animatronics give substance to the medieval imagination and allow us to explore the myth in a different way. The trail invites visitors to discover different creatures, from the most discreet to the most spectacular, in a natural environment that's perfect for wandering and discovery. La Terre des Dragons presents a fantastic bestiary of animated and scenographic creatures, created especially for the Château de Meung-sur-Loire.
From the giant basilisk to the three-headed hydra, some of the figures reach spectacular dimensions, offering an exceptional experience in the heart of the park.

Access to the Land of Dragons is included in the ticket for the castle and park.
