Terms and conditions of sale
Any order placed by a natural or legal person (hereinafter referred to as «the CLIENT») for an individual ticket (hereinafter referred to as «TICKET») made on the pages dedicated to the online sale of individual tickets on the website http://www.chateau-de-meung.com/fr/, administered by SCI G.L.C.M, whose registered office is located at 29, rue du Pont – 92 200 NEUILLY, SIRET number 524 186 723 00028, (hereinafter referred to as the «Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire»), is exclusively governed by the present general terms and conditions of sale.
The CLIENT acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions of sale prior to confirming their order. Confirmation of the order constitutes acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale without exception by the CLIENT.
The Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire reserves the right to adapt or modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time. In the event of modification, the general conditions of sale in force on the day the order is placed will be applied.
ARTICLE 1 – OBJECT OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to define the contractual provisions between Châteauparc de Meung-sur-Loire and the CUSTOMER, as well as the conditions applicable to any TICKET order placed on the website. https://www.chateau-de-meung.com/fr/.
ARTICLE 2 - CHARACTERISTICS OF TICKETS OFFERED FOR SALE
The TICKETS offered for sale at the Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire (16 place du Martroi 45130 Meung-sur-Loire) and covered by these general conditions of sale are as follows:
– Full price ticket, child price, reduced price, free, Tribu Pass, adult season ticket, child season ticket. The ticket allows access to the site during its opening hours with the last admission 1 hour before closing time for the entire season, except for events / closure of activities 20 minutes before the site closes.
- Event Tickets. Certain events are accessible at a special rate. Last admission stipulated on the ticket depending on the event.
Unless otherwise specified, the total number of TICKETS accumulated per reservation per person may not exceed : 14
ARTICLE 3: TICKET PRICES
TICKET prices are those shown on the website https://www.chateau-de-meung.com/fr/ at the time of order. They are shown in euros net of tax. The total price upon validation of the order is the final price, all taxes included and management fees included. It is shown in the order confirmation email and the order summary. The Château-Parc de Meung-sur-Loire reserves the right to modify its prices published on its website. TICKETS will be charged based on the rates in effect at the time orders are registered.
The site offers several rates depending on the type of visit and the age or status of the beneficiary of the admission fee. Visitors eligible for a reduced rate or free admission must present identification and supporting documents at the entrance.
ARTICLE 4: ORDER AND VALIDATION
Online ticket purchase procedure:
Go to the page: http://www.chateau-de-meung.com/fr/
2. Choose the product and click on «reserve».
3. Select the desired TICKET
4. Select the «quantity» of tickets desired from the drop-down menu and click «add to basket».
5. To confirm your order, click on «Place my order».
6. A form for entering contact details is displayed. Complete it and click on «Confirm your details».»
7. A summary presents the purchase details and the amount to be paid. You must accept the general terms and conditions of sale by ticking «By ticking this box, I acknowledge that I have read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and I accept them». Then click on the «Proceed to secure payment» tile.
8. Once on the payment platform, the order number, the total to pay, and the beneficiary's name are displayed first. To make the payment, it is possible to pay by bank card via One Shot Pay. You will then be asked for:
- The country - The type of payment
– Cardholder name«
- The card number - The expiry date«
– «Card verification code» (the three-digit security code on the back of your card).
- The postcode
- The city
- Postal address
– The email address
Once the information has been entered, click «Pay». If the payment is successful, the order confirmation will be displayed.
9. Secondly, subject to the acceptance of payment by the bank card authorisation centre, an order confirmation e-mail, together with the tickets, will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
10. Upon receipt of the confirmation email, please print your access passes. The access passes will be checked electronically. Each access pass (excluding season tickets) grants single entry only, for the date or period stated on the ticket.
ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT
5.1 Payment Method
The CUSTOMER pays for TICKETS by credit card via the One Shot Pay website.
As soon as the transaction has been completed, the CUSTOMER has the option of obtaining details of the payment via the confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive this confirmation by return e-mail within 24 hours, it is your responsibility to contact our administrative department by calling 02 38 44 36 47 or by sending us an e-mail to info@chateau-de-meung.com.
5.2 Conditions of use of the site
To use the online sales section of the website and to make any purchase, you must be at least 18 years old, be legally capable of entering into contracts, and use this site in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions.
You are financially responsible for the use of the Site both in your own name and on behalf of third parties, including minors, unless you can demonstrate fraudulent use not resulting from any fault or negligence on your part.
You also guarantee the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided by yourself or any third party using your data on this site.
The Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire may refuse to honour the services ordered fraudulently and access to the services offered on the said site in the event of fraudulent use of the online purchase service on this site or contravention of these General Conditions.
ARTICLE 6: ORDER CONFIRMATION
Your TICKET order is definitively confirmed and the Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire is only bound upon receipt of the email confirming that the order has been validated. The confirmation email acknowledges receipt of the order and contains the said ticket as an attachment.
ARTICLE 7: OBTAINING TICKETS
The tickets will be delivered with the purchase confirmation email, they must be printed on white A4 paper, the barcodes and information must be perfectly legible or presented legibly on a smartphone.
ARTICLE 8: TERMS OF USE FOR TICKETS
8.1 All TICKETS are systematically checked at the entrance to the site. This check involves scanning the barcode on the TICKET (numerical code). The TICKET is personal and non-transferable. The TICKET must be kept until the end of your visit.
8.2 Only TICKETS will be accepted
– printed on A4 white paper or presented on a smartphone
- with perfectly legible barcodes and labels.
Any partially printed, soiled, damaged, or illegible TICKET will not be accepted.
8.3 The Meung-sur-Loire Château-Park reserves the right to verify the identity of any person benefitting from a reduced or free admission. The following are accepted: identity card, passport, driving licence and family record book.
8.4 Any TICKET with a reduced fare must be presented with proof of the free or reduced fare. Only the following valid documents will be accepted as proof of free admission:
- for reductions for students under 25: a valid university card
– for job seekers: attestation from Pôle Emploi dated less than six months ago
– for disabled people: a valid disabled person's card (invalidity card, priority card, or mobility inclusion card)
8.5 The TICKET (excluding season tickets) is only valid for the visit and the period (time slot or visiting hours) mentioned when ordering.
In the event of failure to comply with any of the conditions set out in this article 8, the Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire reserves the right to refuse access to the visit or event concerned.
ARTICLE 9: FRAUDULENT USE
It is strictly forbidden to duplicate or counterfeit a TICKET in any way.
Anyone who unlawfully reproduces a TICKET and/or uses a counterfeit TICKET would be liable to criminal prosecution.
Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire will refuse access to the site to any bearer of a TICKET with a barcode that has already been scanned and it is strictly forbidden to sell your TICKET at a price higher than the price shown on the TICKET.
ARTICLE 10: LOSS AND THEFT OF TICKETS
The Meung-sur-Loire Château-Park declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft of the ticket(s), including within the grounds of the site concerned.
ARTICLE 11: CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, EXCHANGES
11.1 In accordance with Article L 121-21-8, paragraph 12, of the Consumer Code, the purchase of a TICKET is not subject to a right of withdrawal. Any TICKET issued may not be exchanged or refunded, except in the event that the Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire cancels the service to which the TICKET entitles the holder under the conditions defined in Article 11.2.
However, exchange or refund is excluded when the cancellation is due to an event of force majeure as defined in Article 13.
11.2 In the event of cancellation by the Château-Parc de Meung-sur-Loire of the service included on the TICKET, it will contact the CLIENT as soon as possible to inform them and, if possible, offer to postpone the service concerned. If postponement is impossible, the CLIENT may be reimbursed. They must make their request within three months of the date of cancellation or modification, on presentation of the ticket that has not been invalidated and their bank details (Relevé d'Identité Bancaire), to the exclusion of any other compensation or indemnity whatsoever, by e-mail to info@chateau-de-meung.com or by post addressed to Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire - 16, place du Martroi - 45130 Meung-sur-Loire.
ARTICLE 12: LIABILITY
12.1. The château-park of Meung-sur-Loire cannot be held liable in any way for any non-performance or improper performance of the services to which the TICKETS entitle, which is attributable either to the Client's actions, the unforeseeable and insurmountable actions of a third party, or to an event of force majeure as defined in Article 13 of these general terms and conditions of sale.
12.2 Unless the http://www.chateau-de-meung.com/fr/ site malfunctions for which it is responsible, the château-parc of Meung-sur-Loire cannot be held liable for any anomalies that may occur during the ordering, processing, downloading or printing of the TICKET, attributable either to the CLIENT, to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party unrelated to the service, or to a force majeure event as defined in article 13 of these general terms and conditions of sale.
ARTICLE 13: FORCE MAJEURE
The CUSTOMER and the château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire may not be held responsible for any non-performance caused by a case of force majeure. The following in particular are considered to be cases of force majeure by the jurisprudence of the French courts and tribunals: total or partial strikes inside or outside the château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire, the blocking of means of transport or supply for any reason whatsoever, governmental or legal restrictions, computer breakdowns, the blocking of telecommunications including networks and in particular the Internet, and other pandemics.
ARTICLE 14: PERSONAL DATA AND IMAGE RIGHTS
When placing an order, personal data is requested from the CUSTOMER. This personal data is subject to computer processing by the Château-Parc de Meung-sur-Loire, intended for the processing and tracking of the CUSTOMER's order, commercial relations, prospecting, and statistical purposes for the Château-Parc de Meung-sur-Loire. This information and data are also kept for security purposes, in order to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and to allow the Château-Parc de Meung-sur-Loire to improve and personalise the services it offers and the information it sends to the CUSTOMER. The recipients of this data are the services of the Château-Parc de Meung-sur-Loire.
Buying a ticket and visiting the Château de Meung implies de facto acceptance of the use of personal data (photos, videos, contact details). This data is processed by the château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire for the purposes of communication for the château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire. The recipients of this data are the departments of the château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data. You may also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of such data. To facilitate your browsing on the http://www.chateau-de-meung.com/fr/ website, the Château-parc de Meung-sur-Loire uses cookies. The cookie is used to record information relating to the browsing of users but does not allow them to be identified.

ARTICLE 17: SAFETY
Visitors undertake to comply without restriction with the regulations and safety instructions displayed at the Meung-sur-Loire château-park. In particular, children, regardless of their age, remain under the full responsibility of their parents, or any other adult who brought them, both throughout the course, whether inside or outside the buildings, within the entire grounds of the Meung-sur-Loire château-park.
All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult to enter the site, both indoors and outdoors.
We remind you that dangerous dogs are forbidden, and that other dogs are accepted inside the castle and in the park if they are carried in a bag. We remind you that :
• Pushchairs are not permitted inside the castle; a pushchair park is provided.
• Eating and drinking are forbidden inside the castle.
High course rules
The route closes 20 minutes before the site closes.
Access: you can only access it when it is open.
Access to the site and the practice of high ropes courses implies the compulsory reading and acceptance of these rules.
Climbing is a physical activity.
Failure to comply with the rules may result in injury. The course at the Château-parc de Meung sur Loire allows you to climb to the top on your own.
The park consists of 3 suspended nets, 6 workshops and 2 zip lines.
The Management reserves the right to deny access to the facilities to any person they deem does not meet the conditions set out in these regulations. The Management reserves the right to close this course in the event of adverse weather conditions (heavy rain, storms, strong winds).
Conditions of use
• Wear clothing suitable for outdoor activities (sportswear, closed shoes, hair tied back, jewellery removed).
• Do not keep any objects on your person that could fall. • Be in good health and have no psychological conditions.
• The practice is forbidden to anyone who has consumed alcohol or any other substance in a quantity that could impair their abilities.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant women. For your safety and comfort, individuals weighing more than 100 kg should seek the supervisor's advice before starting.
Visitors undertake the various routes autonomously and are responsible for their own safety. Total capacity of the suspended nets: 20 people in Room 1, 15 people in Rooms 2 and 3, making a maximum of 50 people.

This route is not recommended:
• pregnant women
• for people with fragile joints
• to people with heart problems
For the safety of visitors, it is forbidden to :
• mount on the sides of the nets
- do somersaults
carrying children on your shoulders
- riding with sharp objects
- smoking or eating in the nets
ATTENTION Jumping near smaller children can cause violent falls.
Dragons' course rules :
The route closes 20 minutes before the site closes.
Please be aware that this path may have uneven ground. It is not recommended for those with mobility issues.
Pushchairs are not recommended on this route.
Closed shoes without heels are recommended.
For your own safety, it is forbidden to cross the ropes, approach or touch the animated dragons (risk of violent shocks).
Thank you for keeping an eye on the younger ones.
The management reserves the right to close the course in the event of bad weather (heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds).
ARTICLE 18: DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Orléans shall have exclusive jurisdiction, after all amicable dispute resolution avenues have been exhausted.
